Now the collective presents ‘Rations’, a restaurant and gallery concept which will be taking place from 3rd to 5th November in a secret London location. For the event, a 6 course menu has been created that takes inspiration from World War II. Dishes include gourmet spam, brown bread ice cream and peppermint creams served in mess tins. Guests will be transported back in time as the venue will be transformed to recreate the wartime era, with details such as authentic Chesterfield sofas, officer’s writing desks, oil lamps and map tablecloths around a fireplace. The event is being hosted in collaboration with The Horsebox Gallery, a new touring gallery that will be displaying a series from its collection of paintings.
